In this kit, you're gonna receive your bolts for replacing both your spring eye and your shackles as well as heavy duty upgraded shackles. This isn't a wet bolt kit. This is just a standard shackle bolt kit, so if you've got your self-lubricating Never Fail style bushings, then this is gonna be great to get your old hardware that may be worn out replaced. We also sell replacement bushings and these springs here if the damage has gone too far beyond just the bolts and the bushings. more

Hi there, trailer owners. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at a replacement step bolt, in a 9/16" diameter for a 1 3/4-inch spring eye hanger. These are also known as shackle bolts. So, here we've got our old spring, and our new spring. And if we look at our old spring, you'll see, it's got a bunch of grease around the edges here. And if we look at the bushings inside of our old spring, we can see that the bushing is all worn out. more

Now, if you also need the Road Armor equalizers we do sell those separately on our website. Now, basically in a multi-axle system, the shackles is what'll link the springs and the equalizers in the suspension system. The shackles'll handle most movement and weight in a suspension setup, therefore they are the most likely component to wear, and they should be checked frequently. more

Hi there Grand Design owners, today in your 2021 Grand Design Imagine, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Lippert Components Road Armor Equalizer kit. To help us with that, we're also going to be using a Wet Bolt Kit from Dexter. And this is what our new equalizer looks like when it's installed. The Road Armor Equalizer is an upgrade over your factory equalizer and it's going to provide a lot of dampening that the factory one just doesn't have the capabilities to do. Here you can see our factory one, and it's just a solid piece of metal, with some bushings inside of it. The bushings inside of here are going to be a plastic self-lubricating bushings, so they're supposed to be maintenance free but you can see here, the bushings are already starting to wear out. more

Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com, today we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement E-Z Flex third axle equalizer. This is going to replace the third axle equalizer for your E-Z Flex Suspension system and the kit that you see on the screen there. So if you have that system already installed on your trailer and that third axle equalizer is no longer working for you, as well as it used to, or it has become damaged, this is going to be an exact replacement from Dexter Axle so that you can get that working again. Just like the original it is going to have that rubber core to isolate and absorb road vibration and impacts help to minimize chucking or that back and forth movement. It's got the same sturdy steel construction to help increase durability and that bronze finish to help resist corrosion. Hello everybody, this is Jeff at eTrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this equalizer for three inch wide slipper springs. Now the equalizers are suspended from the center hanger on your trailer, and they serve as a link between the leaf springs on multi-axle trailers. These equalizers will swing front to back and transfer weight from one axle to another specifically when you drive over a bump and the transfer of weight will equalize the weight being carried by all the axles and allows for a nice, smooth transfer of the impact through the suspension system. Now, there is always one equalizer between two connecting springs in a multi-axle trailer system. This equalizer can be used on either the left or the right hand side of the trailer. more

Now this shackle strap will connect to your double eye leaf spring to your rear hanger of a single axis trailer. Or to the equalizer of a multi axle trailer. 3 Inch Round Trailer U-Bolts Installation- Video
Hi there trailer owners. Today we're gonna be taking a look at red lines line of replacement U bolts. Round U bolts are commonly used to hold your leaf spring stack onto your axle. And if you're making any repairs to your trailer it's possible that the threads can get damaged where you can't reuse the U bolt. You might have to replace them in that instance, or if you had some sort of blowout or any other kind of damage where you might've had some damage that caused some issues with your U bolts here you may need to replace those as well. Over time if you've constantly taken these off they do stretch out over time. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at this MORryde shackle upgrade kit. This kit is going to replace and upgrade your shackle straps, bolts, bushings and locknuts on your trailer suspension system. This is going to work for your triple-axle trailers with the 2 1/4 of an inch wide shackles with leaf spring suspension and a Correct Track alignment and lift kits. These shackles are a 1/2 inch thick, so when you compare them to a standard shackle, they are going to be much, much hardier. So, it's gonna make them a lot more durable and prevent any breaking or bending or anything like that. more

Hey, everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the SumoSprings Trailer Helper springs. These are gonna do a great job of helping to get a little bit more space between your trailer's frame and the axle. So if you have issues with the floor kinda bottoming out whenever you go over potholes, this can be a really nice way to make sure that it kinda keeps that space and it keeps your axle from bottoming out against the floor of your trailer. Also smooths out the ride, overall, can help to relieve a bit of body roll, or that kinda feeling like you're swaying, especially in crosswinds or if trucks are passing you or if it's just windy outside, taking any corners. All that kind of good stuff. Now this is for a single axle, if you have a tandem axle trailer, you can just get an additional kit, or kind of double this kit. more

Today we're gonna take a look at this MORryde shackle upgrade kit for triple-axle trailers, with the OEM Correct Track system and the 3 1/8-inch-long shackles. This is a heavy-duty shackle kit. It's an excellent upgrade for your RV suspension. This one uses the half-inch-thick shackle brackets, which are a lot thicker and stronger and more durable than the standard quarter-inch-thick factory brackets. It does also use these bronze bushings, which will increase durability over the plastic ones that are used in the factory. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at this step wet bolt. This is going to allow you to mount a double-eye leaf spring inside the front or rear hanger on your trailer leaf spring suspension system. This is a grade five bolt so it is gonna have that hardened steel construction, so it will be very durable hold up well for you for a nice long time, you can see it is right at about three inches long there and 9/16 inch in diameter, just over half an inch in diameter. Our thread diameter is 7/16 of an inch and we have 20 threads per inch there, this will work with your 7/16 by 20 lock nut that is sold separately, just thread on there and we'll allow your double-eyed leaf spring to be supported in your suspension system for your trailer. So that's going to complete our look for today. more

Today we're gonna take a look at the More Ride Shackle Upgrade kit for the tandem axle trailers, with the correct track system and the three and one eight inch long shackles. Now this heavy duty shackle kit is a nice excellent upgrade for your RV suspension. This kit comes with the half-inch thick shackle brackets which are a lot thicker and stronger and more durable than the standard quarter-inch thick factory brackets. Also comes with the nice bronze bushings to increase durability over the plastic ones that are used at the factory, and it does include the greasable bolts also known as wet bolts, and they are easily maintained they help minimize wear and tear versus a dry bowl. Now, basically in a multiaxial system, the shackles they will link the springs and the equalizers in your suspension system and the shackles of what will handle most movement and weight and the suspension setup, therefore they're most likely component to wear and should be checked frequently. more
